APPOINTMENTS

During your first visit you will be asked questions about your general health and medical history as well as your lifestyle. Where possible a consultation form will be sent to you in advance.  This approach allows plenty of time to discuss symptoms and concerns plus allows time to treat the whole person.

You will be fully clothed during the treatment, usually lying on a Massage couch. Please wear loose comfortable clothes. You may feel a deep sense of relaxation and possibly become aware of heat, tingling, pulsations or other sensations.

Therapists are trained to feel the subtle motion of fluids that bathe the brain and spinal cord. Examination is done by testing for movement in various parts of the craniosacral system.  Often when testing is complete the restriction has been removed and the system is able to self correct.

Pam Martin BSc CST DARM RMT is a fully qualified CranioSacral Therapist and Advanced Remedial Bodyworker specialising CORE Bodywork and Trauma Release Exercises (TRE).

“In 1996 my first daughter was delivered breech and suffered from numerous infections as a baby. When she was 4 years old she was diagnosed with “glue-ear” and recommended grommets. After having CST her hearing improved such that she managed to avoid surgery”

Studying with the Upledger Institute since 2001 Pam has attended classes in CranioSacral I&II, SomatoEmotional Release I&II, Paediatrics, Visceral Manipulation and has completed her Advanced I&II. CranioSacral Therapy can assist a huge number of individuals irrespective of their complaint and due to the gentle nature of the treatment babies can be treated from birth.

Pam has treated clients as young as 2 days old and 89 years old.
